Registration

The Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering (CME) provides First Aid, CPR, AED, and Anaphylaxis (Severe Allergy) training to CME personnel and non-CME personnel. The CPR-AED (Adults only) training is free for all CME personnel. Students, faculty members, and staff from other departments can also take the training at the cost indicated below.

Note:

Minimal attendance applies to all training sessions. The CME Department reserves the right to cancel the session if the minimum attendance is not attained. The CME department will notify participants at least seven days prior to any training session that is cancelled.

Training Requirements:

  • All participants should have a valid Concordia ID.
  • Participants must read the course description and complete the prerequisites to ensure that they are taking the required training.

Please note: Cancellations made by telephone will not be accepted.

Cancellation fees:

  • CME personnel (students, faculty, and staff): $25
  • Non-CME personnel (students, faculty, and staff): $30

Participants who cancel less than 6 full business days before the scheduled session or fail to attend the training session will forfeit their full payment.

Co-curricular Record:

Students can now add First Aid and CPR Training to their Co-curricular Record. The Co-curricular Record (CCR) is an official Concordia University document that highlights your involvement in student life at Concordia.

The following guide (How to add co-curriculum) outlines the process of adding your First Aid and CPR training to your CCR. Please note you will also need to send a copy of the First Aid/CPR training certificate to co-curricular@concordia.ca as proof of your successful completion of the training.
